Must look forward to...

Challenges and problems occur in our life just to give us lessons we must learn to live. Being a human, it is not our fault to hurt someone or make them hope for something. We are living in a perfect world with perfect lives but we are the one who made it selfish and imperfect to live.

The year 2011 was a great year for me, full of happiness, sadness, leadership and sometimes scary moments. Great thing, I survived all of it. Isn't it fantastic?! I somehow find myself strong and mature enough to face more challenges that will occur in 2012.

I could say that I am lucky as a person now, I am so blessed and thankful that it even made me say nothing at all, in short, no words can express my feelings towards something. But there is one thing that bothers me a lot today. I want to share it here in my blog because this person becomes part of my life even for awhile.

I just met a new friend who is half - Thailand and half - Filipino. It is actually a dream come true to me, for I always wanted to have a friend who is like him. His name is Kei Chituvatth, 3rd year student in FEU taking up Civil Engineering. I actually didn't met him in person but only through text. His number was given to me by my friend. He is very different to boys here in the Philippines, so kind, sweet, gentle and thoughtful. I never thought that a guy like him is existing, he made me realize something, "He is too perfect to be real."

Days pass and New Year is fast approaching. He told me that this coming December 31, he will travel to Florida with her aunt to celebrate and welcome 2012 with his siblings. Well, life must go on, he became part of my 2011 before it will end. I consider him as a gift since he made my last week of 2011 full of happiness and enchanting moments. Can you believe that? Be enchanted to a person you haven't seen yet?

My life will not end there, I know that the year 2012 will bring me more surprises that would leave a print to both heart and mind of mind. I am just hoping and wishing that no heartbreaks and sorrow will come but life is not balance without it, let's just say, "Please come at the right time." I will continue in posting more stories, songs and videos that could touch everyone's life. I will continue to be me and nothing else but me.

My Heart SPEAKS...

Last December 16, 2011, a one of a kind event happened to my life which I am going to treasure for the rest of my life. This only happens once in a lifetime for a girl like me. How can you imagine that I would get a chance to wear a HANBOK (a korean traditional dress) in a celebration here in the Philippines? Fantastic right? hahaha :D

Day of my birth took place that day. Not only that, I am going to enter the legal age here in the Philippines which is 18. I could say that time flies so fast that you would not notice that you miss everything if you are not enjoying every second of it. In my case, I was so overwhelmed and happy at that moment, who would have thought that I was able to meet all of my friends in the said event. I guess, I was one of the luckiest person here on earth because I don't know what to ask for, I have great family, caring friends and especially a loving God that is always beside me to guide and guard every moment I stay in this world. Maybe an ideal partner? Just kidding! :D

I really appreciate those people who stayed by my side for all those years they have known me, through thick and thin. I was able to create my second family with my friends that no one can tear us apart. This means that, I guess it would be better if I say that I cherish and love all of my friends. I may be single for 18 years but never comes to my mind that I should find my other half and feel what they call TRUE LOVE. Isn't it funny that sometimes I am very active when it comes to crushes? But none of them became my ideal type as a boyfriend. Maybe, I guess I am very happy and satisfy with the love I receive from my friends. They filled up my life with happiness and sadness that a person would be grateful of. Thank you my FRIENDS! You were my TRUE LOVE!

I don't know what to say just to make this entry long, I almost poured out everything. I just want to thank everyone for the friendship they have shared to me. My RRB Family, you guys were the one who is so real and faithful to each and everyone who is part of our family. I never thought that you guys were real! A true friend, true family, true classmate and a true people who don't cover up flaws just to outshine everyone. I would treasure all of you guys until my last breathe. And if ever in my second life, I would only wish for a FRIEND like my RRB Family can only be. :)

          I couldn't believe myself that I became a fan of SNSD (Son Nyo Shi Dae) or Girls Generation in english. Because of the song "THE BOYS", I was loosen up and like them for the first time. This was their new side for me. Well, I couldn't say more that's why I am going to post the music video I am talking about.

     I got this quote from my friend who used it as a greeting group message. It is short bu the thoughts being brought were great, can even touch everyone's life just like mine.

     God has reasons and purposes on everything he has done in our lives. It is up to us on how we accept and deal with it. Hard at first, but as time passes by we learn to live with it.

ZOMBIES ate YOUR BRAIN!

     It's been awhile that Plants VS Zombies became a huge hit in the game industry. Its a a very easy game that even kids can manipulate. You don't need to have a professional backgrounds just to play this. It even enhances your strategic skills for you need to plan very well your defense so that zombies won't be able to pass your yard and eat your brains.

     Since then, I was attached with this zombie character that made me collect objects representing zombies. Some people find it weird but for me it is cute. I didn't find it scary but it gave me the feeling of happiness every time I buy these such things.

     At this moment, I was able to collect a zombie pencil case, cellphone chain and a purse. I am planning to have a t-shirt printed with zombie and to have a bag which has a face of zombie. I am proud of my things even other people didn't find it AMAZING!

Success in LIFE

     Time flies so fast that it didn't made me notice that my brother is already an Engineer. Can you imagine that? It was like yesterday that we were still kids, playing around and bullying each other.

     Last September 10 and 11 was their board exam (national) in Cebu City where he took his review in CEERS, a well-known review center for Electrical Engineering here in the Philippines. It took him 5 months there, all alone in the boarding house (independent) with much determination within him. Since then, me and my family believe and trust him that he could make it to the board exam. He always call and text us, informing all the events happening in his life their. Isn't it sweet? We don't need to remind him that he must text us every now and then, he did it himself.

     

     Now is the time of his arrival, as a little sister, I couldn't help myself from being excited to go home since I was in school. I could still remember yesterday, the moment we all have been waiting for. The result were already posted in the net as said by  my brother for us to me updated and informed (http://www.prc.gov.ph/uploaded/documents/REE0911-ALPHA.pdf). By the moment I scrolled down the names, I saw the name Albert Zafra, I was shocked, over joyed, proud and etc. I couldn't explain my feelings by then. My mother was also there, standing behind me, I pointed my brother's name on the monitor, my mother was very happy that even made her jump for joy. My mom was very proud of my brother and I could tell it through her reactions and facial expressions. It was still dawn and people in the house was still asleep. My mom couldn't help herself from saying that my brother is now an engineer, that made them awake and looked at the monitor. Like us, they over reacted from the news that made them energetic at that early time. It even made me tear for joy. I didn't cry but the tears won't stop. I guess I am very proud of my brother that he made it to pass the board exam just like what me and my family hoped for. I never felt this happiness before, it made me dreamed more and be determined in my studies that I must finish my course and be a CPA someday. I don't want to fail my family. I want them to be happy and proud of me like what my brother did.

     And now my family is planning to have a thanksgiving party like what they promised during the graduation of my brother. I am very happy that I became a part of this family and experience the life I couldn't miss every minute in this world!

Intramurals

     One of the most awaited time in College life is the celebration of Intramurals. It is the time wherein each student has there time to shine. Different competitions were made so that different talents and gifts can be discover. September 5-10 is the Intrams week of NDDU divided equally according to the different contests. The first day was the opening ceremony, it is started with a Holy Mass to bless everyone throughout the week. Every college will compete in parade and in even the most creative college shirt. The main highlight that night is the cheer dance competitions. I actually didn't watch it, I am not gifted with height that's why it is so hard for me to see the battle in action. But the fireworks display that no one should miss was captured by my eyes and even remain in my mind up until now. That night was really amazing for me!

Reality of Life

Life is fragile, Life is short.

Do not take Life for granted.

Live a balance lifestyle and enjoy Life!

A long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered. Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped on to his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry and tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much area as possible. Came to the point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, “Why did I push myself so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only need a very small area to burry myself.”

The above story is similar with the journey of lour Life. We push very hard everyday to make more money, to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health, time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love to do. One day when we look back, we will realize that we don’t really need that much, but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed. Life is not about making money, acquiring power or recognition. Life is definitely not about work! Work is only necessary to kept us living so as to enjoy the beauty and pleasure of life. Life is a balance of Work and Play, Family and Personal time. You have to decide how you want to balance your life. Define your priorities! Realize what you are able to compromise but always let some of your decisions be based on our instincts. Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of Life, the whole aim of human existence. So, take it easy, do what you want to do and appreciate nature.

Watch your actions; they become habits.
Watch your habits; they become characters.
Watch your character; it becomes your destiny

LOVE and TIME (like this story)

Once upon a time, there was an island where all the feelings lived: Happiness, Sadness, Knowledge, and all of the others, including Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island would sink, so all constructed boats and left. Except for Love.

Love was the only one who stayed. Love wanted to hold out until the last possible moment.

When the island had almost sunk, Love decided to ask for help.

Richness was passing by Love in a grand boat. Love said,
"Richness, can you take me with you?"
Richness answered, "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat. There is no place here for you."

Love decided to ask Vanity who was also passing by in a beautiful vessel. "Vanity, please help me!"
"I can't help you, Love. You are all wet and might damage my boat," Vanity answered.

Sadness was close by so Love asked, "Sadness, let me go with you."
"Oh . . . Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself!"

Happiness passed by Love, too, but she was so happy that she did not even hear when Love called her.

Suddenly, there was a voice, "Come, Love, I will take you." It was an elder. So blessed and overjoyed, Love even forgot to ask the elder where they were going. When they arrived at dry land, the elder went her own way. Realizing how much was owed the elder,

Love asked Knowledge, another elder, "Who Helped me?"
"It was Time," Knowledge answered.
"Time?" asked Love. "But why did Time help me?"
Knowledge smiled with deep wisdom and answered, "Because only Time is capable of understanding how valuable Love is."
